For anyone who's never danced bachata before or wants to start from scratch. These classes teach you the fundamentals: rhythm, basic steps, posture, simple turns, and leading/following. Everything takes place at a relaxed pace, with plenty of repetition and personalized attention. Perfect for feeling comfortable, building confidence, and enjoying the dance floor.
In the beginners' course, we learned to lead and follow and became comfortable dancing together. Now's the time to explore Bachata Romantica. These movements provide additional tools to adapt our steps to the music. Salsamas offers classes year-round, even during school holidays. Because many of our members travel outside of the regular school holidays, our classes will generally continue. However, during public holidays and summer vacation, there may be a modified schedule. We'll communicate this in advance so you know exactly what to expect.
